Minnesota Renaissance School is a small  non-sectarian Montessori private school that offers a quality education for children from age 16 months through grade 8.

The goal of Minnesota Renaissance School is to provide children with the best education possible by utilizing the finest program and staff to create a learning environment that meets the needs of each child. Our primary focus to attain this goal is to use the philosophy and methods developed by Dr. Maria Montessori through the early years, and to continue to utilize the best relevant Montessori concepts during the child's middle school years to help them transition to high school. The school encourages parental support and participation in each child's education to accomplish an environment consistent with the needs of the child, both at school and at home. By achieving these goals, we realize that we will be helping to provide a RENAISSANCE in education.

Minnesota Renaissance School is located within 1 mile of Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids and .5 mile south of the Anoka County Government Center.

Testing Results Our elementary and Middle School students have been testing approximately 25-30 percentage points higher than the national average on national standardized testing. A parent of a preschool student (fall 2010)  commented, "I can see that he is becoming more independent already.  It has to be from the Montessori environment here."

Due to the popularity of our program, we are opening more space at the preschool level (ages 33 months through Kindergarten).
